The “Zoo Hypothesis” is a theory that posits that alien civilizations know that Earth exists, but have purposely chosen to avoid contact for some reason (such as the belief that we, as a species, are not ready for alien contact).

Google has been testing a Reader Mode in Chrome that hides unnecessary page elements, making it easier to focus on the important text. You have to enable a feature flag to try it out, but the flag vanished in the latest Chrome 101 update.

Thankfully, it’s not gone for good (yet), the Chrome developers just didn’t extend it in time for the 101 update. You just have to enable one more flag before Reader Mode appears, and the next Chrome update will fix the problem. Just like the T-1800 Terminator, it will be back.
