It’s the weekend, and you should be out enjoying family time. We’ll quickly breeze through the good stuff from the week, but after that you should head outside and find yourself something to grill.

Here’s your tiny little bit of new geek goodness for today…

Windows 7 Calculator Rocks!

My favorite feature in the completely re-done calculator is the History, which you can activate by right-clicking on the result area, using Ctrl+H, or the View menu. This way I can see the calculation I just used a minute ago… love it!

The Stuff We Found While Goofing Off at Work

I recently made up a completely inaccurate statistic that 90% of time at work is spent goofing off online. It’s clearly untrue, because I’ve only got 6 links for you today. I guess I’ve just not been slacking off enough!

Next week, I’ll do nothing, and maybe it will be everything I thought it could be.

The Daily Articles

You might notice there were more articles than normal this week! That’s because we’re ramping up to cover more topics, which has been the most frequent reader request… more variety!

We’re so excited about the new writers… you’ll start seeing their articles in the next week or two.

Editor’s Weekly Note

If anybody happened to notice a completely obnoxious, awful, terrible, and utterly ridiculous audio advertisement that showed up between 8 and 9PM on the 14th of this month, we’d like to deeply apologize. One of our filler advertisers decided to run one without telling us… and they are in the process of feeling my wrath.

We try really hard to avoid using annoying, irritating, intrusive, or misleading ads – even if we make less money because of it. If you ever see an ad that’s in your face, please feel free to email me about it (and preferably show me a screenshot so I know which one it is).

Alright, now that we’re done, get off the computer and go enjoy the sunshine!
