The holidays can be a stressful time, especially with the economy dying this year and making it hard to afford presents. We recommend wasting some time playing holiday themed flash games to get you in the mood, especially if you are stuck at work the day before Xmas!

If you want to get a break from all things Xmas you can always resort to my personal favorite, the previously mentioned geekiest flash game ever, or take a look through Mysticgeek’s awesome archive of Friday Fun.

Without further ado, on to the list…

Deep Freeze

This game reminds me of the original Mario Bros game, except instead of having to bump the bad guys from beneath, Santa has a big ice gun to shoot them with. Quite a bit of fun.

Snow Line

This game reminds me of a combination of Fantastic Contraption and Line Rider, except it’s a little more simple. You have to draw a line underneath the elf so that he can grab all the presents, then click the Play button to see if he’ll make it.

Very addicting, so beware!

Santa’s Cannon

This game is “cute”, although not quite as fun as the others, but I figured I’d include it anyway just because it’s pretty well done. The basic idea is that people in different locations are thinking of the present they want, and Santa has to shoot the present at them.

Wrap Attack

This game is your standard platformer game… you can shoot the bad guys and collect presents, and even shoot out an ice platform that you can use to jump from to reach higher platforms. Reminds me of playing my original NES.

Penguin Rush

Do you remember the ice mountain level in Super Mario 64? There was one mini game where you had to race against a giant penguin… and this game reminds me of that. Really incredible to see how far computers have come in just a few short years.

Note: You’ll probably have to install the Adobe Shockwave plugin if you want to play some of these games.
