Text-Only URL Quick-Fix for Firefox

Tired of copying & pasting text-only URLs from websites or forums that do not allow people to post regular links? Say goodbye to that hassle with the Url2Link extension for Firefox.


On occasion we all run across a webpage or forum with URLs that are displayed as text only. It would certainly be nice if you did not have to copy and paste the URLs just to visit those webpages… But there is a quick and easy way to fix that.



All that you need to do is install the extension…nothing else. As you can see the text-only URL has now become a nice clickable link and your browsing just got easier.

    What about end parentheses, such as in your picture? There should be a way to get rid of those. :/

    Great, but would be nice if Mozilla creates the function like in Apple Safari, if you select a text that starts with http or www and right-click on it, you will get “Go to address” or similar… don’t remember it well, but is something like this
