These are really cute! I used to be crazy about birds once. My desktop is currently Mami themed, but maybe next time I’ll make it bird themed =]

  2. dragonbite

These are great, but I would have to buy a new monitor if the cats see them ;)

  3. Asian Angel

    @dragonbite – Oh my! O_O Meow, meow, meow. ^_^

  4. Asian Angel

    @Anya – ^_^

Thanks again for another wonderful set of wallpapers. I especially love the landscapes and critters you find. Most of these are especially well suited for wallpaper because the simple, near monochormatic backgrounds let the junk I keep in my desktop (folders, files, post it notes, calendar) be more more visible without getting lost in a busy background.

The red kite is awesome! And the bonus wallpaper is cute!

  6. Asian Angel

@Lady Fitzgerald – You are very welcome and I will continue to do my best to keep fresh, fun wallpaper collections arriving on a weekly basis. ^_^

I agree with you about these being very nice for helping desktop items to remain visible…great for going with docks too if a person is using them. ^_^ Just a little bit of tweaking on a dock’s background and “woohoo!”…matching theme. ^_^

  7. Hatryst

This is a nice collection, cool :)

  8. Hatryst

Oh… Lots of TWEETS in here :D

  9. Lady Fitzgerald

    Groan! :)

  10. Sterling

Lovely photos! I specially like the ones with green backgrounds (I like green).

Some of these photos reminds me of one of the YouTubers I’m subscribed to. Today posted this video:

  11. Asian Angel

@Hatryst – Thanks. ^_^ It really is a tweet collection ha ha! ~_^

  12. Asian Angel

@Sterling – Glad that you liked the collection. ^_^ You and I are exactly the same when it comes to green… ^_^

That was a cute video too…the little bird in it was so colourful. ^_^

  13. Bob Dyer

These are great, but I would like to know what each bird is named.

  14. Ja5087

Have you seen the twitter fail whale for overloading yet?

  15. Lady Fitzgerald

@ Bob Dyer check the captions under each photo before downloading. Most do say what kind of bird it is. I always rename the photos when I save them.

  16. Ralph Nash

One more peep out of you and I’ll . . .

  17. Asian Angel

@Ralph Nash – That is a terrific LOL caption for the bonus wallpaper! ^_^ I have been hoping to see some submissions on that, so thanks. ^_^

  18. Sterling

@Asian Angel: Cool. What browser do you use? If you’re on Chrome (and on Windows 7), check out the Aero Pistachio Green theme in the Extensions Gallery. I’m on Windows 7 and the theme looks nice with the Leaf (green) glass color.

Thanks for finding these nice wallpapers!

  19. Hiloduffer

Love these pix. I am a BIG bird person with TWO feeders just outside my office winder. Am I missing something? (Quite possible) Is there a way to download ALL of them to use as a screensave (rotating, of course)?

  20. Hannah

The one flying above the sea seems so lonely.

  21. Asian Angel

@Sterling – I use Firefox as my main browser followed by Opera and Iron Browser. That is a pretty theme and green is my favourite colour too. ^_^

You are very welcome for the wallpapers. ^_^

  22. Asian Angel

@Hiloduffer – My Mum really loves birds too and gave me the inspiration for this post. ^_^

Each of them will have to be downloaded separately, but can be easily set up as rotating backgrounds or as screensavers depending on your system (i.e. Windows, Linux) using pre-installed or free software. ^_^

  23. Asian Angel

@Hannah – Lonely only until you adopt him and bring him home to your desktop. ~_^

  24. Lavinsch

Love the pictures, however, here is a geeky technical question I need answered.

How do I save all the images as pictures and put them into my Pictures folder? And then select one ( the picture of the Robin) to be my background? And how do you stretch to make it fit the screen?

I’ve got a Dell Latitude D630 with Business Vista.

    Thank you.

  25. Heistman

Can u kindly zip the featured images in the article for easier downloads?? Would be very appreciated :D

  26. Toxigen

Great pics, but HOW do I download them? There appears to be no link given here

  27. Asian Angel

@Lavinsch – Right click on each of the images you like and select to open the link in new tab. Once you have the DesktopNexus page open click on Download to get a copy sized to your monitor’s resolution, a custom choice size (choice is accessed using the Options button), or the original size (choice is accessed using the Options button).

Once you have the images you like saved to your computer you can either move or copy them to your Pictures folder. From there you can access the folder when changing the background (Right Click on your desktop and choose Personalize) or right click on an image itself and select Set As Background. ^_^

  28. Asian Angel

@Toxigen – Each of the images shown above “contain” the link. ^_^ To download the images right click on each one you like and select to open the link in new tab. Once you have the DesktopNexus page open click on Download to get a copy sized to your monitor’s resolution, a custom choice size (choice is accessed using the Options button), or the original size (choice is accessed using the Options button). That is all there is to it. ^_^
