Sometimes the users of SD phone will get in the trouble that the phone cannot read the card even after a few times plugging. Check the following situations to see what the problem is:

(1) SD chip is dirty.
Because of the careless protect for chips, sometimes there will be dust or dirt.
Discrimination; check that if the metal area is black or there is any spot on it.
Handling: use cotton with alcohol or water to wipe it gently. Plug it in when it gets dry.

(2) Battery voltage.
Some good-qualified card requires stable power supply, and the bought battery is not good enough as original battery, so that may cause the problem.
Discrimination: when using the bought battery, if the state of stand by is not good, it may be the problem of battery.
Handling: Change the battery.

(3) The slot is squeezed.
The design of slot is very delicate of some ultrathin devices. If the thickness of battery exceeds certain requirement the slot will be squeezed.
Discrimination; Change the battery to the original battery.
Handling: Use the original battery. Use something to reshape the slot.

(4) The wires inside of the slot rust or bend over.
Some phones support hot-plug, and frequent plug-in and out makes the wires bend over.
Discrimination; Check the slot under light if the wires are at the same position.
Handling: Try to bend the wires back.

(5) SD card gets virus.
For some smart phones, if the SD card gets virus on the computer, it will not be read on the phone.
Discrimination; Scan the SD card on the computer.
Handling: Format the card on the computer or some low specification storage (such as camera). If format it on the computer, you should choose FAT form but not FAT32 form.

(6) SD card is formatted improperly
As the forms of phones and computer formatting are different, redefine the file form and format the card again as the introduction. Please be sure the form of card is FAT, because FAT32 won't be read in E680.

(7) SD card is broken.
It is very easy to judge. Plug the card in the card with card reader. If it can be read it is all right.

(8) The phone is broken.
If it is the problem of the phone, send your phone to repair.
Hope these advices can help you.
