well this is my first post and im hoping i can get some help pn this because its most frustrating. a few weeks ago i started getting this error message when windows would start " ipoint.exe failed to load properly click ok to cancel program" then id get a message that says " missing msi.dll please reinstall program.
well iv searched and searched for help on this with no luck. now when i try to install a new program it fails due to this missing dll file,,,first i thought it was a virus because its preventing avg from updating, Microsoft update cant complete, even when i open control panel to remove files it stops me. i tried scanning for male ware and viruses and everything is coming up clean.

hope you can help
