If you are sure that you have all your programs in zip files, all you need to do is double click on them and extract it to the desktop and look for the .exe file. Once you file the setup file which will have .exe as extension you need to double click on it to install it.

However I am wondering how come you get program files in zip file when you had upgraded to Windows 7. Usually all compatible applications should be installed automatically after the upgrade.

Hmm, that is strange. Usually you loose those OEM programs that came originally with the PC when you do an upgrade. But maybe it is your lucky day. Have a look into those .zip folders and check whether those are the installation .exe files. If yes, you can reinstall them by double clicking on the .exe.
PS: Vista programs usually work in Win7 - usually!
