This is an awsome forum...Thank for the owmner.
Here s my questtion: when I open direct audio link, most of the times it gets downloaded into the browser, then gets played by Quick time, which is not my best palyer...I only have it cause some sites still ply streaming videos through it.
I Say most of the time, because sometimes it plays directly into WMP, and it downloads as it play. so how to get wmp to play all the dierct adio or video links immediately instead of waiting to bedonlaoded, and playedby qiucktime in the browser.

I went to internet options, manage addon in the program tab, disabled qiucktime, but the file never got downloaded or played at all

I know at work it happen smoothly, but at home...NO Way Jose.
I have windows xp, wmp10, IE6, and sometimes I use opera "the same problem"

here is a link as an example

Thank you all for your feed back

Unfortunately, no matter how you choose to open it, the file will still have to be downloaded. I suggest right clicking on the link you want, clicking "Save link as" and then saving it to your computer. When it finishes downloading, you can open it with whatever program you like.
