When I get home from work in three hours I'll be building my PC for the first time. Here are the components I've picked, from the reviews I read, everything should play nice with everything else, fingers crossed:

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920
G.SKILL 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Western Digital Caviar RE2 WD1601ABYS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (OS/system drive)
Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (x2) (multimedia drives)
EVGA 512-P3-N860-TR GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223F (x2)
Koutech IO-FPM220 3.5" Floppy Drive & Multi Card Reader
APEVIA X-Dreamer II ATXB4KLW-BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Case
APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 500W ATX Power Supply
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit

The system will be used for high-end video editing and motion graphics. I'm both excited and nervous.

If you see anything I might have missed in way of compatibility, please let me know. (I already know I'll have to convert a few of the connections on the PSU to SATA for all those drives.)
