Cannot delete filename: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

i have several folders--which i am trying to delete--hardly anything in them-??

how does this happen??

have you tried to simply re-boot and then try to delete.
a lot of times re-boot will free it up and allow you to delete it.

Trick for restarting explorer ...
launch task manager > under processes, find explorer.exe > select it and hit end process ....
to restart - hit file menue > select new task . type " explorer.exe " (without the quotes, "") and hit okay.

Or clear your memory without restarting by ...

Right click anywhere on your desktop> got o New, then hit Shortcut.
Copy the below line (as it is):

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

Paste it there & click Next.
Give it a cool simple name like Clear Memo
