Hi
I was fixing my girlfriends computer the other day (toshiba satellite), and everything was fine after resetting it to fabric mode
But, when i was turning it on yesterday i got the message: BOOTMGR IS MISSING
So i tried to fix it by pressing: F8, but that didnt work
So i tried to Boot the computer with : Windows 7 System disc and a System Repair disc
But, both times i get the same message: BOOTMGR IS MISSING

So..im stuck.... -.-
I really need help !

Verdictions, welcome to HTG.

F8 only works when rebooting the PC. BOOTMGR IS MISSING is seen when booting to the HDD.
Boot the machine and rapidly tap F12. this should bring you to the menu, select dvd drive press enter, machine should boot to the dvd drive

Did you press a key when ask before the time ran out? Did you have a bootable CD in the correct drive? If you got that message it will boot from the CD drive. Try, Try again.
