Here are specific instructions for Rufus above for those that need them.
Put Flash drive in and wait for it to be recognized.
Click on rufus_v1.1.3f.exe
In the window that comes up...
Device - choose your thumb drive.
Capacity -- it tells you -- mine was 3.77 GB
File system -- set to ntfs
Cluster size -- 4096 bytes
New volume label -- let it decide
..check Quick format,
..check Create bootable -- ISO image (at this point hit the browse icon and select your .iso file.)
..check Create extended label and icon files.
Click OK to erase disk
and be patient.
Test booted and it boots.
