I have windows live mail installed on vista home premium and it works just fine.

However anytime I have to reboot my system the windows live mail icon disappears from the notification area at the bottom right hand side of the pc screen and I have to restart the program from the start menu program list.

Is there a way to have windows live mail start automatically when I boot windows up?

I do not have Messenger installed.

Thanks for any advice.

Ian.

Hello Ian Ian here
hit the start button
then all programs
then right click on windows live mail
select send to desktop /create shortcut
then open windows explorer to this folder and drag and drop the short cut into it or copy/move it to it
Username is your logon name

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the suggestion, I just tried it but unfortunately it does not work for me so I guess I just have to take the long way round until I find a way to work this out, if you think of anything else let me know.

Thanks,

Ian.
