Ben Stockton
One of Ben's earliest memories is the unpacking of an old HP Pavilion 3100 running Windows 95 and, although he was probably more interested in the copy of Sim City 2000 that came with it at the time, he's been obsessed with tech ever since.
His first job was in IT support, becoming an IT support engineer for a large educational facility. He then moved onto teaching, working as a college lecturer in the UK, where he taught a little of everything, including teaching IT skills to UK Ministry of Defence apprentices.
Ben now works as a freelance tech writer, with a special interest in Linux and Android, writing helpful how-to articles for sites like MakeUseOf, MakeTechEasier, IoT Tech Trends, and Cloudwards.net.
Ben has a BA (Hons) degree in Modern History and Politics from Aberystwyth University and a postgraduate qualification in Computing from Northumbria University.
