    I have that Mario game on my TI 83+. It’s one of the best calculator games I’ve ever found.

    I remember the other kids doing this and felt sorry for them.
    While they were playing their subpar calculator games, I enjoyed sweet GameBoy Advanced action, complete with SNES-level graphics, color, and sound. It even came with real game pad buttons.

    I just never saw the appeal.

    Still it was cool. I remembered that the original Gameboy technology is really that of the calculators. Nintendo just thought of a way to use it for games.
