What does a triple-arena packed with 12,000 gamers and their rigs look like? It’s all the nest of cables, cases, and caffienated drinks you imagine it to be. Read on to peek inside the world’s largest LAN party.

DreamHack started out as a small gathering of friends in the basement of an elementary school and grew to become the largest LAN party on earth–since 2006 more than 10,000 gamers a year have gathered in the three massive halls located in Jönköping, Sweden. So what does a gathering of that scale look like? Over at ExtremeTech they took a tour, snapping pictures of the halls, the napping geeks, and everything in between.
