no question the finished product looks nice, but seeing that the “art” behind is nothing more than simple techniques applied in a semi-random, haphazard way somehow lessens the impact. there’s no real thought to the composition – his gallery shows basically variations on the same theme over and over – planet here, pyramid there, mountains front and back, spray of stars. its kinda the definition of just “cranking it out”. at that point, why not just scan a hi-res image and print the thing on glossy paper? kinda wish i hand’t seen this one.

Its street performance art. If you ever go to LA or Las Vegas, these people are outside “cranking” these out as fast as possible because people like them. If you ever observed these people out on the street, there’s a high chance that there’s a large crowd around them. Whats more impressive is how fast they sell.

You may not find this as art but other people do. And in this economy if you can make money doing stuff like this then more power to you.

After it was done, I laughed because some people just have a talent they are born with. I was simply amazed at how spetacular Brandon art work was. I would like to know aprroximately how long did it take him to get to this stage in his life to make a 1 minute painting.
