Lytro Focus-Free Camera Features Post-Photo Focus Shifting

Earlier this year the internet was abuzz with the news of the Lytro Camera, a camera that allows you to focus the picture after you’d taken it. People were skeptical, but the camera has been seen in the wild.

Although review units aren’t shipping until next year, Mashable invited Lytro creator Ren Ng to their offices to try out the camera. You can see their in-office test here:

It’s pretty hard to see the focus-shifting he’s doing on that tiny little LCD screen, so here’s an example from the Lytro web page to play with. Click on any part of the image to shift the focus.
