Jason Fitzpatrick is a warranty-voiding DIYer who spends his days cracking opening cases and wrestling with code so you don't have to. If it can be modded, optimized, repurposed, or torn apart for fun he's interested (and probably already at the workbench taking it apart). You can follow him on if you'd like.

I don’t watch horror movies. The original Psycho is the only one I’ve ever seen. It scared me enough to never want to see another one. How did King Kong get on the list? I’ve haven’t seen the latest one with Jack Black, but I laughed my way thru the other two.

It surprised me that King Kong made the list too, but it’s talking about the original (1933) maybe they considered it a horror film back then? I think The Silence of the Lambs is the scariest film on the list!

King Kong and Jaws are on the list? Above The Exorcist? I don’t know anything about Rotten Tomatoes’ critics except that they’re completely insane.

Pan’s Labyrinth was a brilliant movie, I still would consider it more fantasy than horror though

Im surprised the original Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman,Mummy movies aren’t on the list – those are all my favorites!

Most of the classics are absent because today’s writers (if any) are clueless and zero talent wanna-bees.
They won’t pay for a good writer and rely on special effects to make up for the lack of a coherent story line. 99 percent of remakes are not worth filming, like the new rehashed, no talent Nightmare on Elm Street. A total waste of time, no story.A five year old would’ve written a better remake. They would have done better to make a nightmare comedy and brought back all the horror classics from 20 years ago into one film. Freddy Kruger meets Jason Vorhees, Michael from Halloween, the Werewolf, Dracula and Frankenstein. Abbot & Costello and the Three Stooges. A time warp brings them all together for a ridiculous massacre that only kills off one bad horror movie writer. Maybe throw in the Crawling Eye and the Blob for the absurdity.
