Co-Optimus Catalogs Cooperative Console and PC Games

By Jason Fitzpatrick on October 5th, 2011

Co-Optimus is an excellent resource for gamers interested in co-operative gaming and includes search tools for every major platform, search parameters to drill down through the results, and co-op game reviews.

Many games are touted as having cooperative/multiplayer modes but what exactly cooperative means is often left to the imagination of the buyer. Some games are tagged as multiplayer when they, for example, only have a multiplayer mini game or two while the meat of the game is single player. Co-Optimus lets you sift through games with dozens of variables to get to content you’ll actually enjoy.

Want a game that has split-screen cooperative play so that you and your friend can enjoy the game in the same location and work together on completing it? No problem. Want multiplayer over a network with support for up to 8 players? You can search for that too. You can even search for things like whether or not the game supports drop-in/drop-out modes so players can come and go without ending the session for everyone else.

Hit up the link below to find great cooperative games for your console of choice.
