Delicious Stacks Supercharges Bookmark Sharing

By Jason Fitzpatrick on September 27th, 2011

Delicious, best known as a cloud-based bookmarking tool, has a new face. Delicious Stacks is a fusion between bookmark sharing and micro blogging.

Sold by Yahoo! earlier this year, the new parent company Avos has revitalized the old bookmark service with a fresh way to gather and share your links. Now instead of sharing static bookmarks you can build “stacks” that present your shared content like a polished micro blog.

If you’re an old time Delicious user and a bit nervous about the change, you’ll be comforted to know that the new Delicious maintains all the old API interfaces, all private links are still private (Delicious isn’t going to suddenly share all your old private content), and there is a pile of new features including multi-tagging and profile pictures.

Login to your Delicious account to take the new features for a spin or visit the press release below to read more.
