Android: If you’re a fan of the status bar in WP7 but not in a hurry to get an actual WP7 phone, StatusBar+ brings a WP7 style status bar to Android.

StatusBar+ doesn’t require a rooted phone, works in both landscape and portrait mode, and completely replaces your old status bar with a new WP7 status bar. The Lite version is free but lacks the more advanced customization options. The $1.30 premium version includes customization features like changing the status bar color, toggling drop down menus, enabling StatusBar+ on boot, and more.

Hit up the link below to grab a copy of the Lite version to take it for a test drive. StatusBar+ is Android only, no root required.

Oh wow, this app has some serious potential! The free version is bare-bones of course, but does indeed work smoothly on my OpV. Definitely going to be paying for this one because the growth potential is going to be amazing. Great find!!!!
