Jason Fitzpatrick is a warranty-voiding DIYer who spends his days cracking opening cases and wrestling with code so you don't have to. If it can be modded, optimized, repurposed, or torn apart for fun he's interested (and probably already at the workbench taking it apart). You can follow him on if you'd like.

Why do they have be limited by battery charge when they could easily work to keep each other ‘plugged in’ at all times? All one would need is charging station that could keep a numbered supply to charge enough batteries to keep the little suckers afloat indefinitely and a way they could switch out their batteries without shutdown. I’m sure they could even be taught how to bring batteries to those in distress or those performing tasks that cannot be interrupted.
Or would this be too dangerous?
I mean if they had the ability to keep going and going what could stop them?
    Not me!
I worship you my quadrotor overlords and promise to keep the lights on for you, please forgive me for that time I stepped on my nephew’s annoying little micro helicopter for it was not your ancestor and was not long for this world.
