Team Fortress 2 Is Now Free [Gaming]

Wildly popular computer game Team Fortress 2 is now free

Previously $10, Valve dropped the price for Team Fortress 2 to $0. The new model is a “freemium” one wherein the majority of the game is free but you can purchase small upgrades in-game (like expanding your backpack from 50 slots to 300 slots to hold more gear or purchasing items instead of searching them out in the game). Check out the trailer and then hit up the link below to grab a copy.

Jason Fitzpatrick is a warranty-voiding DIYer who spends his days cracking opening cases and wrestling with code so you don't have to. If it can be modded, optimized, repurposed, or torn apart for fun he's interested (and probably already at the workbench taking it apart). You can follow him on if you'd like.

I used to love this game before it became about collecting all the weapons and hats.
Not played it since the sniper/spy update.

I used to love it before it went free.

Now if only Unreal Tournament (original) becomes free.

Should have been free when it came out. I payed $20 when it released, being a diehard TFC fan. Terrible game.

I cannot understand why anyone would want this game free or otherwise. The word crap springs to mind in capital letters.

I’ve spent over 1500 on this game and it’s still the greatest game I’ve played, I don’t understand the hate. I welcome the influx of new players and look forward to the free content updates every few months, Valve is a great company.

I used to love it before it went free….@jimmy,I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff,

I used to love this game befo…oh wait, I still do. I was just playing it last night, matter of fact.

I haven’t bought anything other than the game itself, when I picked up Orange Box. Out of that entire package, TF2 is the only game I still play.
