    Now? I mean, now?
Isn’t it too early for 10.10 manual? :D

  2. Satya

Is not it little bit late? I mean testing versions of 11.10 already has been released.

FYI, this is handy for things other than just Ubuntu. Think of all the the other distros based on Ubuntu. Backtrack 5 was just released and it’s based on Ubuntu 10.4.
While it might be late in relation to Ubuntu, the info to be gleaned from these manuals will be beneficial/applicable to more than just those specific distros.

all the “NEW & IMPROVED” distros that came out in may are garbage. they’re junk, i make better appliances at suse studio. i can use this seeing how linux mint 10 gnome is the only one that still works.

    Officially old release :)

With the new setup they have in 11.04, that guide will be a pain to update. With all the previous distros up to 6 you could have basically skipped updating most of the screenshots and still had a functioning walk-through for beginners. :P

would really like to download a copy of the manual but neither of the links work

@John – I just checked both of the links a moment ago and they are working without any problems here.
