Geek Fun: Build a Real Life Super Mario Bros. Coin Block

By Jason Fitzpatrick on March 23rd, 2011

If you like your DIY projects to have the sole purpose of establishing your geek cred, you can’t go wrong with this coin-dispensing Super Mario Bros. coin block.

Bruno Games shares a neat DIY project that combines paper craft, electronics, and nostalgia together into a functional Super Mario Bros. coin block. Build it, fill it with coins, and punch the bottom. You’ll be rewarded with coins flying in the air; beat box the Super Mario Bros. theme song while you’re doing it and you’ll have the entire experience at your fingertips.
