Parrotfish Extends the Number of Services Accessible in Twitter Previews

Are you tired of only being able to view a few select services in the new Previews Pane at Twitter? Now you can access up to 165 different services in the Previews Pane using the Parrotfish extension.

Here is what you get with Parrotfish:

  • HTML5 support

From on the Security feature: Twitter phishing attacks have grown recently. Parrotfish compares links against known phishing and malware URLs and lets you know if we think that URL is unsafe. Phishing data is provided by Google Safe Browse.

As you can see in the screenshot above, Parrotfish provided a nice preview for the webpage behind the shortened URL we chose for our example.

Parrotfish is currently available for Firefox (no support for 4.0 yet), Google Chrome, and Safari. To add Parrotfish to your browser just visit the Install link below and will auto detect which browser you are using.
