Voice Search Brings Android-Style Voice Search to Google Chrome

By Jason Fitzpatrick on December 20th, 2010

If you’re in love with the click-for-voice-search button on Android phones, this clever extension adds voice search right into Google Chrome. Enjoy the same voice search capabilities on your desktop you enjoy on your phone.

Voice Search is a Chrome extension that puts the familiar little microphone icon from Android phones on your Google Chrome toolbar. Click the icon and speak into your computer’s microphone to search just like you would from your phone–“Wikipedia The Safety Dance”, “Google Images Lady Gaga”, or “YouTube David at the Dentist”, are all verbal commands Voice Search can parse.

Visit the link below to grab a copy and read how to enable speech input if it doesn’t work right out of the box for you.
