Last month, Roku discounted most of its streaming media players in time for Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale. Ahead of Black Friday, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K is at a new all-time low price.

The Roku Streaming Stick 4K is now on sale for $25 at multiple retailers, which is $5 lower than the previous best price from last month. Roku has a few different streaming boxes that are remarkably similar, so it’s easy to get confused, but the Stick 4K is our current top pick for the best streaming device. It supports 4K output (hence the name), as well as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, if your TV has those features.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K (2021)

This player supports 4K and HDR playback, but with a more compact design than the full-size box.

The player works exactly how you would expect from any streaming device or smart TV. After you set it up, you can install channels (apps) for services like Disney+, YouTube, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, and many others. There’s also a pre-installed Roku Channel, which has free “live” channels and some on-demand content.

Besides the software and player hardware, the included remote has volume and power controls for the connected TV, in addition to all the buttons for the Roku player. It’s not clear when the current sale will end, but it’s a great deal, especially if your TV’s current software isn’t a great experience.
