The WH-1000XM5 is the newest version of Sony’s popular WH series of ANC headphones, complete with an updated design, long-lasting battery life, and great sound quality. There’s a USB Type-C port for charging, like most wireless headphones at this point, and you can listen to music over Bluetooth or a wired connection. There’s also an audio equalizer in the Sony Headphones Connect app, available for both iPhone and Android.

We gave the headphones a score of 9/10 in our Sony WH-1000XM5 review, awarding points for the best-in-class ANC, excellent sound quality, and decent microphone for calls. However, we were a bit bummed by the lack of an IP rating or any kind of water resistance, and the memory foam and synthetic layer can get warm in hot outdoor weather.

The current sale drops the price to $348.00 at Amazon and Best Buy, the same exact discount we saw during the Prime Early Access sale in October. Target also has it discounted to $349.99, only $2 more than the other stores.
