Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games has had an exciting month, as the company released Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, which received mixed reviews and had some weird issues with extra files in the game at launch. To make things right, it is offering a free game or some in-game currency to anyone who owns the remaster collection.

Anyone who purchases the game before the end of January 5, 2022, will be eligible for a free game, as reported by VGC. So whether you already own a copy of the collection or you purchase it within the next few days, you can grab one of the following:

  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition
  • LA Noire
  • Max Payne 3
  • A Great White Shark Cash Card for GTA Online
  • 55 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

“The Holiday Sale Bonus Offer is available only for purchases of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition made from the Rockstar Store. Console versions and purchases made from third-party retailers (including console digital stores) are not eligible,” reads Rockstar’s FAQ on the giveaway.

If you have Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy or intend to purchase it before January 5, you can head to this promotional link to pick up your free game or currency.

Additionally, Rockstar is offering a large sale on its games so that you can snag most of the company’s big releases at a considerable discount. That includes Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy for $47.99, which will get you the free game while saving some money on the entire collection of early GTA games.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy was pulled from sale when it was first released because several files were included by accident, and Rockstar needed to remove them. This appears to be a make-good for the mistake, so you should definitely take advantage of it while it lasts.
