Amazon has just announced a very user-friendly deal designed to attract more players to its Luna cloud game streaming service. Now, Prime members can try four games from today through September 15, 2021. Additionally, Amazon is rolling out some new tiers and features to the service.

Luna is Free For Prime Members

Amazon is rolling out an extended trial for Luna as a benefit of being a Prime member. Unfortunately, you won't be able to play anything you want during the trial, but you will get to play four solid games for as many hours as you desire. There's Resident Evil 7, Metro Exodus, Katamari Damacy Reroll, and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom.

You don't need to sign up for the Luna free trial, which requires you to cancel before it ends. Instead, between now and September 15, 2021, you can use your existing Prime account to enjoy these games.

Amazon's New Luna Family Plan

If you have young gamers in the family, Amazon also introduced a family-friendly Luna plan that only costs $2.99. With it, you'll be able to stream a collection of E-rated games that are suited to gamers of all ages.

Some games included in this plan are Death Squared, Super Mega Baseball, and Overcooked, all quite enjoyable no matter your age. There's a total of 35 games, so it's not a bad value for the price.

New Luna Features

A new feature called Luna Couch lets a subscriber share gameplay sessions with anyone, whether they subscribe to the service or not. The subscriber creates a unique link that they can share with a friend, which allows them to join a gameplay session whether they're nearby or across the country.

Because Luna is a cloud-based service, the person receiving the link doesn't have to wait to download games (and game downloads have become larger in recent years). Instead, the game is ready to go right away, so no one has to wait to get the fun going.
