Before

For our example, we decided to focus on the “Tools Menu” in our Firefox Browser. Here is the menu before editing…

A Look at Menu Editor’s Two Modes

Once you have installed the extension you will need to access the “Options” in order to start editing menus. Menu Editor comes with two different modes…”Simple & Advanced”. Here is what “Simple Mode” looks like…to access “Advanced Mode” click on the “Advanced Mode Button” in the lower right corner.

Menu Editor in Action

We selected “Tools” from the drop-down menu on the left and then scrolled through the entries changing “green check marks” to “red Xs” for each entry that we wanted to hide. All that is required is a single click to make the change… Once you have finished editing the menu you can preview it by clicking the “Apply Button” to see if there is any additional editing that you would like to perform. When you are finished click “OK”.
