‘Google Now’ Notifications now Available in Chrome Beta Channel

Have you been waiting for the ‘Google Now’ feature in Chrome to get more settled in and stabilized before trying it? Then this bit of news should be of interest to you. ‘Google Now’ notifications have made it into Chrome’s Beta Channel, and are one step closer to a stable release!

Here is a close-up look at a notification and the Bell Icon on Windows 8.

Once you have everything set up, all that you need to do is click on the Bell Icon for Windows and Mac OS X (System Tray/Task Bar), or the Numbered Box on a Chromebook. Clicking on the icon/box will open the Chrome notification center as seen above.
