Flickr Website and Android App Revamped, All Users Get 1 TB of Free Online Storage

By Akemi Iwaya on May 21st, 2013

Loyal users have been waiting a long time to see some major updates at Flickr and as of yesterday their wait is over. Flickr now sports a new layout, the Android app for the service has been redesigned, and the amount of free storage has been increased to an outstanding 1 TB! If you have not tried Flickr before now, then it might be a good time to check things out.

The huge increase in storage is a definite benefit to current users and viewing photos just got a lot nicer with a new photo stream that displays in an endless scrolling gallery format. Another bit of good news is that users will be able to upload full-resolution images to the website.

The sign up page is already live, so head on over to get your free 1 TB of online photo storage now! You can also learn more about the update to Flickr by visiting the blog posts linked below.
