The Infinite Jukebox Creates Seamless Loops from Your Favorite Songs

Why limit yourself to simply listening to a song on repeat when The Infinite Jukebox can use algorithms to turn your song into a seamless and never ending tune?

Unlike simply looping a song from the start to the end over and over, The Infinite Jukebox analyzes the song and looks for spots where it can seamlessly transition from one point in the song to a previous point to create a sense of never-ending music. Some songs worked better than others in our testing–Superstition by Stevie Wonder, for example, worked flawlessly but Gangnam Style by Psy got stuck in a short loop that sounded unnatural.

    one word: awesome

    Does not support Firefox 17. Useless for most people

  3. Sebastien

    Extensively flawed.

    Why is stairway to heaven one of the most uploaded tracks? It’s like 7 minutes long!

    I always thought golden brown was too short… loop was unnatural.

    Two options for them: Either fix the site to support Fox, or **** off.

    I’m more mesmerized by watching the green marker light up all the connecting pathways! I am a little bummed it fails if you switch tabs, because it says it doesn’t work well in the background… not much help if i want to listen to music but need to get other stuff done

    Wow…you have some nice people on this site, How To Geek. Being all nice about them not having Firefox support.

    Oh wait. No. They’re just whining like children.

  7. Keith

    Here’s the sound of me whining somemore.

    \whine whine whine whine whine

    deal with it.

  8. Keith's mother

    It’s past your bedtime, Keith. Your father is going to give you the hiding of your life when he gets home.

    This is not a whine – it is a statement of fact:
    The website tells me to use Chrome or Safari – Firefox is not supported.

    I use FireFox too, and I was disappointed. But I looked at their FAQ and found out why:

    Firefox doesn’t support the beta protocol that they use, but Mozilla has promised support soon… Hey, at least they didn’t write it in flash.

  11. Kodess

    Lol, the reason the site doesn’t work with firefox is because firefox doesn’t have the latest HTML5 implemented yet.

    @Keith’s mother,

    Ok I’m scared. Truly I am. My mother’s dead. So’s my dad. Quit scaring me or I’m going to start crying. : )

    @Keith She’s a *ghost*!!

    The standard is only a draft currently, and no browser gives it complete support yet.

    Can’t get it to work on Chrome or Firefox. Just says “loading track….”
