    I agree… Why?
    I hate the stupid Windows 8 look…. It’s ugly… really ugly…
I’m not even going to upgrade my windows 7 Pc to windows 8… why on earth would I make my Android look terrible too…?

It looked ugly in my Galaxy S3

Apparently, there’s no taste like… no taste. Which is what you would have to have to curse your phone or tab with this app.

I find this Metro/Modern/(whatever its current name is) terribly ugly. I don’t even want it in Windows. Visual designers have put a lot of effort creating beautiful icons and interfaces over the years and MS want us back to flat squares?

That’s the stupidest idea I have heard so far today – but if we do it, can we sue Microsoft?

HTG chose a pretty ugly screenshot for this. Hopefully, like Launcher 7, you can configure the exact color (as opposed to picking from the 4-8 Microsoft give you in WP7). I would imagine with a live wallpaper or no background (yay for battery saving), it would look better with a milder color.

But I’m uninterested in this for the same reason I’m uninterested in Launcher 7. Both are for people whose phones only serve phone functions. Once you get more than a few apps, they, and the whole WP7 interface idea, become so utterly worthless. I briefly considered making a new homescreen as a sort of “control centre” using this, but decided against it. I have a pretty tight UI using Nova Prime (any launcher with folder support works, though) that is based on a minimalistic approach with information and most-used apps being at most, two clicks away, and secondary apps (and below) being at most two clicks plus a swipe (left or right). It’s nice and it’s highly efficient.
