DIY Mini-Studio Is a Sturdy and Cheap Photography Platform

By Jason Fitzpatrick on September 6th, 2012

Most DIY table top studios/light tents are designed to be packed down–this one is a permanent and sturdy fixture with a nice smooth cyclorama background.

Courtesy of DIYer Nick Britsky, this stand-alone mini-studio features a nice solid frame for attaching lighting, flashes, and diffusion panels as well as a solid and smooth cyclorama-style background. Hit up the link below to see pictures of the build in progress, Nick’s solution for the background, and the Sketchup files so you can whip one up for your basement.
