By Akemi Iwaya on August 8th, 2012

This has been an exciting week with Curiosity’s arrival at Mars and its safe landing on the surface of the planet. Now you can take the fun and excitement to the next level for all the kids in your family with this awesome set of instructions for building your own LEGO model of Curiosity.

Stephen Pakbaz has put together an awesome 46 page PDF file of step-by-step instructions on how to build your own LEGO model of Curiosity. Worried about the types and numbers of pieces you will need to build your own LEGO model? Stephen has included a complete parts list on the last two pages of the PDF file!

Stephen has also produced a model file for the LEGO Digital Designer software that you can download as well. The download links for the PDF and model files are embedded in the first paragraph. There are also additional links (Flickr, etc.) embedded in the post, so make sure to hurry on over and enjoy the fun!
