LOL this is the exact dilemma I’m facing right now.

The one thing that makes me weary of updating is that sometimes Apple completely breaks the usability of my media buttons and I won’t see a return to functionality until 3 or 4 versions later.

Funny thing is today is the first day I finally installed itunes ha! To bad it’s to slow. I’m switching back to Zune.. It just works…

I have not used iTunes for some years, I use SharePod in Windows and Rhythmbox in Ubuntu to manage my iPod. But at this very moment I keep postponing the restart for the updates that just got installed, this is so true…

I can’t relate to itunes, but I have done this with skype.

I also do this with the G+ app for my phone. It’s still on the last classic version of it because I can’t stand the new one. I might try and get the 2nd version of the 2nd style of it (I have the 1st version of the 2nd style saved as a backup). But I don’t like the newest because it dropped side swiping to different streams and that takes too much time out of my break. However, it does have sweet new features.

I am afraid to accept the OTA update for my TF101 since it is working great now. The reminders let me postpone for “1 day” and I postponed at 11:57pm. And again at 12:00am. And again at 12:08am. Then I noticed that now that I was out of postpones, I could still hit the home button and not take the OTA just yet. I need to look into this OTA and make sure it doesn’t break anything.

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!

I just grab the latest iTunes version(s) off FileHippo this way it won’t bug me about the update.

Yeah sometimes I do get scared uf updating software. You do it sometimes and it stops working! Sometime you can’t even tell what has changed.

LOL. I hate iTunes updates because they always break something; I miss you so much support…

Same here. I think that until I have a new iPod, I will not update. I have my libraries working exactly as they should and Don’t want it to change.
