Humble Indie Bundle V: Psychonauts, Superbrothers, and More at a Name Your Own Price

There’s a new Humble Indie with some fantastic DRM-free and cross-platform offerings and, most importantly, some fantastic games. Score a copy of Psychonauts for the best price in town!

But seriously: if you’re looking to game on a budget this Humble Indie Bundle is an absolute gem. For a few bucks (that you can even opt to donate to charity) you can score five awesome games including Psychonauts. I enjoyed Psychonauts so much I’d happily pay the full original retail just to play it again. In addition, the full soundtracks for each game are included with your purchase.

Hit up the link below for more information. Humble Indie Bundle V is available until 6PM EST, 6/14/2012.

The Humble Indie Bundle V

Jason Fitzpatrick is a warranty-voiding DIYer who spends his days cracking opening cases and wrestling with code so you don't have to. If it can be modded, optimized, repurposed, or torn apart for fun he's interested (and probably already at the workbench taking it apart). You can follow him on if you'd like.

    I would buy them… But I don’t know if I would actually play them…

I guess I can still chip in to the Humble Brony Bundle though! :P

If you’ve never played Psychonauts then get this bundle. It is an awesome game. If I didn’t already own it the $15 would be cheap. It will keep you happy for hours.

Sorry meant to say that $15 would be a steal for Psychonauts. You don’t have to pay $15. Give, donate, buy, contribute whatever you can to this fine cause. But believe me, Psychonauts is worth anything you pay!

  4. Dark Reality

I played Psychonauts when it was still fairly new until I got stuck. Should have hit up GameFAQs or something. I did the first mind-invasion thing, and it was tricky but a lot of fun. It was a real bummer to go back to “the real world”. I couldn’t wait to jump into the next mind. I hear a lot of great things about it, and I wish I got that level of enjoyment, but I did not really get that far into it.

As far as 3D platformers go, I got a lot further with, and I think I beat, Gex: Enter the Gecko. It came with a GPU I bought, maybe my first one. Wouldn’t install on the next computer, it was for that GPU only, but it played great.

I’m surprised Psychonauts is being tossed into this Bundle, as old as it is. Not that I’m complaining. I just thought the Humble Bundle was meant to highlight up and coming developers. Though, I hear that Double Fine (Psychonauts developer) is working on something, so maybe they just want to get their name out there more. But I think Limbo and Bastion are the real draws, with Bastion being the reward for spending more than the average.
