Friday Fun: Out of Wind

By Akemi Iwaya on May 4th, 2012

The best day of the work week is finally here, so take a few minutes to relax and have some fun while waiting to go home. In this week’s game your mission is to help set up new power sources in a village that has lost its wind power capabilities. Setting them up starts off simple enough, but will quickly become trickier the further you go!

Out of Wind

There are twenty levels of gear turning goodness waiting for you to solve.

For your convenience we have included screenshots of the background story for the game here…

Here is the first level. It serves as a tutorial and helps you become familiar with gear movement and placement on the game board.

Note: Click on gears with the left mouse button and hold it down to move them, then release the button when you have finished moving them.

There is a helpful hint for making your first selection and placing it in the proper place.

The other two gears are easy to set up for this level… In later levels you will need to experiment with gear placement in order to set things up properly.

Once all of the gears are in their proper places the windmill will start turning.

You will be presented with your time at the end of each level and can choose to replay that level or move on to the next.

Welcome to the second level. Going forward their will be more gear types (i.e. ones that you forge), multiple gear setups, and more to keep you busy. Good luck and have fun!
