    See if it’s raining key

I’m not that far gone … yet, but I won’t open a window until I go on-line to check the temp. I also whine to the cashier if the floor crew has the Frozen Food isle blocked off.

Compare to the Kennewick Man who lived with a spear point imbedded in his hip. No health insurance, no room service, no TV remote.

I’m working on an AHK script to check the temp for me as we speak. If it’s above 65 degrees, a message box pops up …

“It’s ok to open the window, sweetie.”

To which I reply, “Are you sure?”

I think you’d enjoy the film, “Idiocracy,” if you haven’t seen it already.

    For reals :-)

Re Idiocracy: Yes, definitely time well spent.

Oh, honey… that’s been true since time immemorial. People are getting any dumber, for the most part; it’s just that, these days, they have the ability to display their stupidity on several world-wide stages, courtesy of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and the like.

Wasn’t it Robert Heinlein (through Jubal Harshaw) who said something to the effect that the biggest cause of human neurosis was being constantly exposed to and involved in the neurosis of 6 billion strangers? Boy, did he call that one right!
