The Secret Weapon Combines Evernote and Getting Things Done

If you’re a fan of David Allen’s productivity system Getting Things Done and popular cloud-based note service Evernote, The Secret Weapon combines the two into a cloud-based GTD system.

The Secret Weapon combines elements of GTD (capturing loose ideas, emptying your inbox, grouping by context) and supercharges it with some Evernote-centric additions (extensive tagging, send-to-Evernote capture). It’s a really clever mashup of GTD and Evernote; we’re currently taking it for a spin around the office. Check out the video above to see it in action then hit up the main site for more information.

great piece! Evernote is indeed a very nice tool and can be very useful in many situations.

also just want to share something I discovered recently. There is a free online tool –, which you can use to upload your Kindle “my clippings” directly to evernote. You can also convert your clippings to other s word or pdf, just in case you prefer those format more. Hope you can find this tip useful. I also wanna hear yours.
