Context Is a Lightweight Tool for Decluttering and Organizing Your Chrome Toolbar

By Jason Fitzpatrick on February 13th, 2012

Chrome: If you’re looking for an easy way to declutter your Chrome toolbar without actually uninstalling tons of extensions, this clever extension hides and organizes your extension buttons based on context.

If you use one set of extensions for deal hunting and shopping, another for goofing off with Reddit and StumbleUpon, and other for getting serious work done, there’s no need to keep all the extensions visible all the time. Context is a lightweight extension that does one thing well: it allows you to organize your extension buttons and toggle their visibility based on context. Whatever your contexts may be, you can easily dump the extensions into them and then quickly toggle between the contexts as you work/play focus shifts through the day.

Context is free and works wherever Chrome does; Hit up the link below to grab a copy.
