In the German city of Ulm, you’ll find the Museum of Bread Culture, a museum that houses 16,000 bread-related artifacts, but not a single piece of actual bread. The founders, Willy Eiselen and his son Hermann Eiselen, believed that the bread itself was not an artifact, but a foodstuff that should be baked fresh and enjoyed.
