Switcher is a third-party alternative to Flip3D in Windows Vista, with a lot more useful features.

Overview

Switcher is a full-featured window switcher add-on that has a ton of features, including hotkeys and mouse triggers. You can filter windows by typing the name of the window, or use the number keys to immediately launch a window in the list.

The application uses the Desktop Window Manager compositing engine in Windows Vista to provide live thumbnails of windows.

History

Switcher started out as a simple clone of Expose, the switcher in Mac OS X. It has since grown into an application with many more features.
