Overview

Windows ReadyDrive takes advantage of flash memory on hybrid hard drives (usually in laptop computers) by increasing performance and extending battery life. This is done by using flash memory versus accessing data from sectors on a typical hard drive. This saves time because flash memory is faster and battery life because less power is needed to access data.
