Get Diablo II Working on Windows Vista

If you try and install Diablo II (Diablo 2) on Windows Vista, you'll likely get one of a number of errors. This page will explain how to get the game to run correctly.

Steps

  1. First, install the game.
  2. Next, install the latest patch for the game from Blizzard.
  3. Then, right-click the shortcut for the game and set the options on the compatibility tab:

  1. At this point you should be able to run the game without any problems.
